Review of: Nildram

Nildram offers a number of online services from lease lines to domain name registration. It has gone thorugh a number of changes, spinning off secitons of its company into names like Vialtus. It used to be called Pipex. At some point it also went by Freedom4 Communicaitons and various other names.

In terms of domain name registration, avoid it. I'm in the midst of trying to get six domains registered with them out of their clutches and it's like getting a straight answer from a politician. The run-around is ludicrous. Going on two days now, I've been having to call their support line (which they charge for) to be told I will be called back. No such call occurs.

They have some byzantine process for unlocking the domain names which seems to change depending on who tou manage to get on the phone. They refuse to answer your questions, butting in to say something inane that has little relevence to the topic at hand and the basic goal seems to be just to end the call as quickly as possible beofre they have to actually think or do something.
