Conkers is a kid-focused museum and set of exhibitions in the National Forest, and themed around trees and nature stuff. We went on 26 August. I took my wife, son, and nephew to see it.
Overall, there's a lot to see and do. The kids enjoyed themselves. Pretty much everything is hands-on, so for kids that love to grab stuff, this is ideal.
The only problem is that it's showing it's age. The kids said a few times "Everything's broken!", which it wasn't, but there was an awful lot of stuff that simply didn't work. Several exhibits were completely broken, and some just didn't seem to work right. The kids struggled with some of those exhibits before qiving up.
There was a large outdoor adventure playground, which the kids spent a fair bit of time in, but again that could have been bigger.
It was clean and tidy throughout, and was wheelchair and pushchair friendly almost everywhere. There was also plenty of baby change locations and toilets, which is always good.
I would go again, but only if I thought things were improved.
